And then Gavin entered this book, and I was hardcore shipping him and Kendra, but then, what about Warren, does he even matter, also I have my suspicions about both of them, but I don’t know who I like more. In fact, if I ever read this one again, that’s how I’m going to read it. You may have read about centaurs and satyrs, fairies and fog giants. Will the plague eclipse all light at Fablehaven?
Which is why I am gravitating more towards Middle Grade-Fantasy books.

Love the introduction of Dragons and Patton being in the book!! The Dragonwatch series is available now! And I like how Seth really began to hold his own as a character. Rise of the Evening Star Fablehaven: I skimmed over these parts when reading silently to myself, but reading them aloud is awful! We shwdow got to see more of Tanu and Warren although I wanted to see more of Coulter too, since he seems like a very interesting character.

This time there were more mysteries,more magic,more complexity and of course it was more satisfactory. Shdow characters continue to develop and the world continues to become much richer in detail.
I think the story will flow much better that way.

For centuries, mystical creatures of all description were gathered to a hidden refuge called Fablehaven to prevent their extinction. Right after joining the society, she was assigned to retrieve another secret artifact hidden at a preserve in Arizona, The Lost Mesa.
For the most part Kendra actually comes across as a real 14 almost fifteen year old in this novel, to the point that she’s thinking about whether or not a boy likes here during a death threatening mission. Actually I liked Seth better than Kendra. Thanks for telling us about the problem. The only thing I didn’t like about how she was portrayed was that even though she did cry when losses happened, she seemed to move past it a lot faster than I would really expect her to.

And I have a feeling that Seth is going to play big role in the coming books. The stakes have never been higher. Finally, Kendra is developing powers that are not only making her a target for the bad guys, but also powers that are protecting her against those same bad guys. Hate him first and adore him now.

Actors just aren’t able to portray the inner monologue you get in a book or the feeling of being there inside the story.
